Vampires of Iowa!

DemiCon V is pleased to present yet another live-action role playing event. The thot may plicken as the few kindred, many Garou and goddess only knows how many Mages lurk. The scene is set in Gothic Iowa where the prince of all vampires, Justin Gruen, holds court in a tall building in Des Moines. The interaction between the characters may just be the highlight of your weekend. Contact Adam Blyth if you want to play.

Win, Lose or Draw:

A perennial favorite with artists and audience alike, Dagobah is yet again sponsoring a fannish version of the (in)famous game show. Simply show up Sunday at 12 noon in the Main Programming room and watch your favorite artists sketch their interpretation of SF titles or phrases as the audience member shout out their guesses.

Costume Contests:

Beware, anyone caught wandering the halls in costume Friday evening may be presented with an award. Judges traveling in cognito (and in Howard Johnson) will be bestowing the honors informally but the winners' names will be announced at the formal Masquerade Saturday evening.

The formal masquerade will be held Saturday evening at 9:00 p.m. Pre-registration is required so please pick up your entry form at the desk. Forms must be resubmitted at the registration desk no later than two hours prior to the start of the event. The rules are simple but vital: 1) You must report to the masquerade organizers in costume by 8:00 p.m. Saturday evening in the Conference Room. 2) An entry may consist of a sigle individual or an
