Because of some nifty television coverage we've been promised, the judging for HALL costumes will be done Friday night. Regular masquerade costume judging will take place at the dance on Saturday night. Winners of both hall- and masquerade-costume judging will be announced at the dance. To participate in the hall costume competition, just wear one and hang out where folks can see you. Procedures for the formal costume contest are as follows: 1) Pick up an entry form at the registration desk. 2) Turn in your entry form at the registration table by 45 minutes before the start of the contest, and show up in costume by 30 minutes before. 3) An entry may be an individual or a group. 4) Your appearance may not exceed one minute. Prizes will be awarded based on the decisions of the judges.
J. R. Daniels and some of our other artist guests invite you to join them in a fhannish version of the T.V. game show. Show up at Ballroom A on Sunday at 1 p.m. to join in the fun. Participants should sign up at Registration.
A networked computer game; if you've never played before, full rules will be given at the tournament on Saturday. 25 participants will play in groups of 5 at a time; sign up for a time slot at the registration desk. Winners of the initial rounds will go on to play the winners of the other sessions in a final megabattle. Preliminary rounds will go until one player wins, or until the time limit of 1 hour is reached. If the time limit is reached before a winner is determined, the player with the most bases wins that round. There is no time limit on the final round; play will continue until a winner is determined. The first round will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in the Board Room;
