Russ Madden writes. And writes. And sometimes get published. His fiction and nonfiction have been published in Dragon, Ampersand, and Objectively Speaking. He also actually takes credit for being a founding member of the Iowa City science fiction group, SFLIS. Go figure.

David E. Martin paints pictures of teddybear wizards and warriors that are almost as huggable as Dave himself. Don't let that fluffy cute charm fool you, though -- Dave's art subjects run the gamut of F & SF themes. His work has been published in Dragon magazine and other TSR publications. He also does some game design on the side, and is the author of The Marvel Super Heroes Ultimate Powers Book.

M. S. (Melinda) Murdock hails from Omaha, as does her Master's degree in English. She puts her skills to good use writing Star Trek novels (such as Web of the Romulans) and material for TSR publications (The Hammer of Mars, Prime Squared, and more). Even if you've never met her, you know that anyone who -- by her own admission -- owns too many dogs, cats, and horses, can't be all bad.

Stan Nevins, from Kansas City, has been a long time space advocate. He has been vice-president of the World Space Federation, a member of the Board of Directors for L-5, and is currently on the Board of Advisors for the National Space Society.

Kevin Randle sports a really nice mustache, which makes him O.K. by me. He also writes books with Bob Cornett (see bio opposite page), such as those of The Time Mercenaries trilogy. His latest work is The UFO Casebook, with which he has managed to garner a few television appearances.

Mickey Zucker Reichert isn't just another mild-mannered pediatrician. Nor is she just an author of terrific fantasy novels, such as those in her Bifrost Guardians series: Godslayer, Shadow Climber, and Dragonrank Master. She also sponsors a mean writer's workshop, such as the one she'll be doing here at DemiCon.
