Other Guests

Algis Budrys, long associated with "Writers of the Future", author of Michaelmas and Rogue Moon and genre critic, now edits Tomorrow magazine. It is said that those who can, do … and A.J. does.

Zeb Cook is known as a game guru, a novelist of no small repute and a long time TSR employee. Zeb, his wife Helen (an incorrigible Mah Jongg player) and their son Ian will be joining us again this year.

Robert C. "Bob" Cornett is one of the world's few officially designated "smooth" administrators, author of more than 40 novels, and had the uncommon good sense to wed Maryann, one very cool lady. But that's very reasonable since Bob is a very cool guy himself.

Newton H. "Newt" Ewell, despite his name, does not resemble a small, four-legged amphibian. But he does resemble a fine free lance artist, editor and designer. Newt escaped the world of bureaucracy a few years ago and hasn't looked back since.

Richard Knaak will be attending his first DemiCon this year and expects to be in the dealer's room hawking his own books for big chunks of time. Richard is well known for his Dragon Lance series contributions, including Legend of Huma, and has also published novels Firedrake and The Crystal Dragon.

Erin McKee, art GoH for DemiCon IV, is not nice … she's darn nice. But after the practical joke played on her at last year's "Win, Lose or Draw", she may want to exact her revenge. But, she's just too nice for that … isn't she?

M.S. (Melinda) Murdock is a fine author, raises dairy goats and owns too many cats, dogs and horses. But is she a good guest? Absolutely, since she's erudite, fasinating, and a snappy dresser.

Lucy Synk takes her art from the sublime to the ridiculous … and takes her fans along with! Our DemiCon II art GoH, Lucy is a kinder and gentler guest and her observations alone are worth the price of admission.
