Room Parties: The infamous strip-and-go-naked party is but one fo the multitude of entertaining gatherings going on in the hotel rooms. But … puhleeze … if you wish to hold one of your very onwn, you must be on the fifth floor. Room parites on other floors will not be allowed, but the hotel staff is most accommodating if you request the party floor when you check in and space is available. If you want a quieter setting, let the registration folks know that, too, so they can put you on one of the lower, non-party floors. Non-smoking rooms are also available.
Pool and Hot Tub Use: Howard Johnson has kindly expanded the pool hours at our request. These facilities are now accessible between the hours of 10 a.m. and 3 a.m. We do remind you, however, that there is no lifeguard on duty and you assume all risks yourself. The pool area is accessible by using your hotel room key.
Check-Out: Official check-out time is 12 noon, but the hotel staff has graciously agreed to extend that until 4 p.m., if you inform them of your plans at check-in. This is a reasonable request on their part, and we must ask that you honor it.
Posters: Your are welcome to mount posters advertising your event/merchandise/party as long as you can live with the following rules: 1) Notices mounted on wood panelled areas must be put up with masking tape only, and : 2) Anything attached to painted or wallpaper surfaces must be put up with tacks or pins, NOT tape. Tacks will be made available at the con registration table.
