"Art in About an Hour," Art Show (Conference Room). J. R. Daniels in a not-to-be-missed demonstration of how artists actually create art. A plethora of artistic tips and secrets culminating in a completed masterpiece in under 60 minutes.

"The Works of J. R. R. Tolkien," Ballroom A. Ivor Rogers, Debbie Rogers, Richard West. A scholarly look at Tolkien's writings from three different viewpoints.
 
"Tarot Symbolism and Psychology," Iowa Room. Jeannette Roth examines tarot symbolism and readings as a key to understanding mind and soul. Includes slide show.

"Developing the Solar System," Ballroom A. C. J. Cherryh, Rob Chilson, and M. S. Murdock discuss ways to expand into the local "cosmic neighborhood" in fact and fiction.
